This agreement is between you (the person or organisation installing GrabNConvert) and the copyright holder named above ("we", "us"). By installing or using GrabNConvert you accept it. If you do not accept it, do not install or use the software. 1. What you may do - Install and use GrabNConvert on computers you own or control, for personal or business use. - Make backup copies for your own use. - Keep and use any media files you create with it; they are yours. 2. GrabNConvert does not bypass access controls, paywalls or DRM, and you may not use it to attempt to. 3. Ownership GrabNConvert, its name, icon and design are owned by us and protected by copyright and other laws. This agreement gives you a licence to use the software, not ownership of it. 4. Privacy GrabNConvert processes files on your computer. It sends no analytics or telemetry. It connects to the internet when you ask it to fetch media from a link, when you choose "Check for update" in Settings, and to the account service: using GrabNConvert requires signing in, and we store your email address, your name and picture if you sign in with Google, your plan and trial dates, and the list of computers your account is used on. Nothing about your files, links or history is sent to us. The full policy is at https://www.grabnconvert.com/privacy. The app keeps a local diagnostic log and a local job history on your computer; both can be deleted from Settings. 5. Third-party software GrabNConvert includes or runs separate programs that are not covered by this agreement and are licensed to you directly by their authors under their own terms: - FFmpeg and FFprobe (GNU General Public License version 3). Complete corresponding source code is available as described in the release notes and in THIRD-PARTY-LICENSES.md inside the app. - yt-dlp (Unlicense / public domain), including the Python runtime and libraries it bundles. - Deno (MIT License). - Fonts (SIL Open Font License 1.1) and the open-source libraries listed in THIRD-PARTY-LICENSES.md. Nothing in this agreement restricts the rights those licences give you to those components. 6. No warranty GrabNConvert is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Media processing can fail or produce files that differ from what you expected; keep your originals. We do not warrant that any website will remain supported. 7. Limitation of liability To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, loss of data, or loss of profits arising from the use of or inability to use GrabNConvert. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the software, if any. 8. Termination This licence ends automatically if you breach it. On termination you must stop using and delete all copies of GrabNConvert. Sections 3, 5, 6 and 7 survive termination. 9. Updates We may release updates that change features. Updates are covered by this agreement unless they come with a new one. 10. Governing law This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA. Contact: support@grabnconvert.com
